2017 Grand World Voyage, Day 197, Palma de Mallorca, Spain (Part 1 of 2)

Today, I was up early for sail-in photos of Palma de Mallorca.  First time back in over 40 years…..  Ann, Cathy, Ellie, George and I did a walking tour of Palma de Mallorca,  the Capitol of the Balearic Islands.  The island is rich in natural beauty and artistic heritage with numerous landmarks, we started our day visiting the majestic Cathedral of Palma and the Almudiana Palace across the street.  We strolled the Maritime Promenade and marina past the La Lonja Gothic building and had great view of the windmills before stopping for lunch.  We stopped to do some shopping and see the sites along the way.  The weather today was a beautiful, warm and sunny day....returned to the ship to pack for our trip to Morocco.  This is a two part blog, this is part one…
