2017 Grand World Voyage, Day 114, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Part 2 of 2)

Today, my friend Angela picked us up around 8:30 and we drove one hour south of Puerto Vallarta to El Tuito, a traditional Mexican town.  El Tuito has been used on numerous occasions as an onsite location by film makers.  We spent some time checking out the local cemetery, church and square…  We had some drinks and snacks at a local restaurant and watched the local activity…On our return to Puerto Vallarta we stopped for a delicious Taco and Birria (meat broth) lunch at a local mom and pop curb-side restaurant that has been in business for over forty years. After saying our goodbyes to Angela, Ann, Cathy and I toured some old town streets enroute to the "Malecon", Puerto Vallarta's famous board walk.  The Malecon is located in the heart of the downtown area, where we enjoyed an ocean side stroll taking in the sights along the way.  We had a great day in Puerto Vallarta! This blog is in two parts, this is part 2.
